INCOTERMS 2020
What are Incoterms 2020?
Incoterms for Any Mode of Transport:

EXW – Ex Works:
Seller makes goods available at their premises; buyer assumes all costs and risks after collection. -
FCA – Free Carrier:
Seller delivers goods to the buyer’s carrier; risk transfers once goods are loaded onto transport. -
CPT – Carriage Paid To:
Seller pays transport costs to the destination, but risk transfers to the buyer once goods are handed over to the carrier. -
CIP – Carriage and Insurance Paid To:
Seller covers transport and insurance to the destination; risk transfers at the place of shipment. -
DPU – Delivered at Place Unloaded:
Seller delivers goods and unloads at destination; buyer assumes responsibility after unloading. -
DAP – Delivered At Place:
Seller delivers to a named destination, but unloading is the buyer's responsibility. -
DDP – Delivered Duty Paid:
Seller assumes all costs and risks, including duties and taxes, until the goods reach the destination.
Incoterms for Sea and Inland Waterway Transport:

FAS - Free Alongside Ship: Seller delivers goods alongside the ship; risk transfers to buyer at that point.

FOB - Free On Board: Seller bears responsibility until goods are loaded on the ship; buyer covers marine freight and insurance.

CFR - Cost and Freight: Seller pays freight to the destination port; risk transfers to buyer once goods are loaded onto the ship.

CIF - Cost, Insurance & Freight: Seller pays for freight and insurance to the port of destination; risk transfers once goods are loaded on the ship.
